A combination that makes it an ideal city to visit. Ideal for enjoying a few days off, getting away from the routine and spending your time enjoying long and fascinating days at your own pace.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps it\u2019s the serene and leisurely pace of the narrow streets in the city centre, the red and orange hues of its sunsets, the beauty of its many different neighbourhoods or the multicultural nature of its architecture. Whatever it is, Palma is a city that has been blessed in so many ways.<\/p>\n<p>The island capital has more than 400,000 inhabitants and offers an almost endless choice of activities and options for both local residents and visitors: museums, markets, cultural attractions, restaurants and bars, exhibitions and almost everything you could ask of a lively and dynamic city.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to visit in Palma? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>La Seu: Palma Cathedral. <\/strong><br \/>\nLocated on the shores of Palma Bay in the centre of the city, it is the most important religious building on the island.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from a magnificent seaside location, what makes this cathedral unique is a combination of Gothic architecture and Renaissance-style features. Its large rose window, also known as the Gothic Eye, is considered the largest and most spectacular of all Gothic rose windows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Almudaina Palace <\/strong><br \/>\nThe Almudaina Palace (Royal Palace) was built in 1311 and is an example of the Catalan Gothic architectural style of the age. There are two towers on each side of its entrance that were built at different times and today both form part of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n<p>Along with Palma Cathedral, it has become a
